You should stay away from carbs altogether but you must know a little science to know that carbohydrates are important for digestion and usage of other nutrients as well so you might as well take in the good carbs in your diet so that your weight loss process does not slow down immensely. However, what are the good carbs for dieting then? Will they actually help in weight loss?

Why Eat Carbs In The First Place?
These questions have already been answered above but for a little further information know that carbohydrates generally leave you feeling full. Your brain also only uses carbs for energy so you cannot deprive it completely of something that it so regularly and always wants! No one is telling you to keep eating carbs. They’re not good if you eat them a lot but some specific ones you should have in controlled amounts because they are actually good for your dieting.

    They do not only have carbohydrates but they are good in fiber and proteins and minerals as well. Beans are actually quite a common staple food in a few countries of Asia and are fast gaining popularity as a diet food due to their satiety properties and also few calories.
  • Popcorn
    This might be your favourite thing on the list. Popcorn are considered to be a very good diet food. It keeps you full, it has a high fiber content and it also has few calories in contrast to the amount it is! It makes for a perfect snack and if you are looking for a treat, you might as well eat popcorn rather than anything else which is probably way more fattening!
  • Oatmeal
    This is present in most cereals and is again taken for breakfast. It is a perfect thing to start your day with and there are many oatmeal cereals present and if you are taking them already, you do not need to cut them out of your diet.
