After some time it was seen that the people on a low-fat calorie diet did not burn as many calories as they should have which made it harder to maintain their weight. Low-carb diet was helpful though but it seemed to increase the stress levels in the body. Low-glycemic index diet, which concentrated on the quality of the calories, was the best one to maintain the weight and to lose it too. According to the research, this particular diet created the perfect balance amongst food and you were taking in the best quality of calories, concentrating on fruits and vegetables and protein in a healthy manner. Thus, you should also pay attention the quality of things. It isn’t necessary that anything with the word low-fat on it is the best thing for you. Be smart when it comes to dieting and things will get easier for you. Science has advanced into so much and dieting is being on an entirely new level now. Take advantage of that!
